Arusha Safari Hostel

Used to be a good spot for many international travellers and had a good review. They try but need a major upgrade of facilities, service and hospitality in general. There are churches close and just in a people's areas. Could improve: The photos mislead. The place is not like the photos now. Old. Piles of dirty under the stairs. Dusty bar area with dog fur on cushion. Uncared for pool. There are pigeons houses thus smelly a bit and there is an unkept beautiful dog. The kitchen is something else. Some of the rooms have wall mold inside and outside. The staff, you need to call more than once to get the service. Had to ask again and again for 3 days to get the EFD receipt. There was one church with early and late evening services, definately not for business/work travellers No fans in the room.
