Well, where do I start with just how fabulous our stay at the beautiful Babalao Bungalows. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Jason and his amazing friendly staff. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with the beach a minutes walk away and also close to some lovely restaurants, mind you the food at the Babalao was first class!! The hotel is tastefully decorated with amazing local artwork adorning both the room, the pool and restaurant/bar area. As mentioned earlier Jason and his staff were very attentive and always greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile. Nothing was too much trouble, even Jason taking us to the clinic after my wife suffered a wasp sting on the beach. Our room (number 14) was perfect for myself, my wife and our teenage son, who had his own adjoining room and his own bathroom. The housekeeping staff ensured our room was spotless every day after we returned from wherever we’d been. The grounds were always clean and today, with lush green banana and coconut trees, above the beautiful flowers and shrubs. At must if you stay here is the bbq and local music and dancing evening. A fantastic experience with great company and amazing local food and music. A big bonus are the 2 beautiful cats that live at the Babalao, who were very friendly and always greeted us. I can’t recommend the Babalao Bungalows highly enough and we will definitely be returning in the future. Could improve: N/A

Beautifully designed bungalows, very well maintained and clean, with beautiful murals and decorations. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was especially good (it is freshly prepared and served each morning, with a different menu every day). The location is also excellent, just a few minutes’ walk to the sea. Could improve: We would have preferred the pool to be a little more secluded.
