Chibuba Airport Accomodation

I stayed with Maya’s other location Chibuba Transit lodge. hospitality tip notch, immaculate hotel with ample seating lounge area, breakfast area with healthy, naturally organic foods: eggs, cassava (yuca- root vegetables), carrot & cabbage salad (Tanzania style - absolutely delicious). the room easily accommodates 2 adults (tho I was only traveling solo). air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan in the room. private bathroom with rainfall shower head. Maya, her husband & the staff, Husna, Margaret, Twalib they all are available to give the warmest welcome. recommend for anyone seeking the warmth, kindness of Tanzania people. I felt like I was a part of their family. asante sana 🌺

This is a modern, well equipped property, especially taking into consideration that it is in a developing country. Unlike other properties that we stayed at in Tanzania, this property had screens on all windows, a very important feature considering this is a malarial zone. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The wifi is strong and reliable. The property has an emergency generator and an excellent airport and drop off service included in the price of your room. We would highly recommend this property for a short stay.

Very walm welcome by this lovely family. A simple dinner of chicken rice potatoes in sauce was delicious. The place is spotless and you can even buy a beer! .. but for me as a solo traveler the free transfer to and from the airport particularly the fact that there was someone to meet me on arrival was priceless. I had heard that taxis can rip you off so to have this reassuring service was great .
