I decided to book this hotel even after reading mixed reviews about it in booking.com. I thought that if I book their best rooms, then we’ll for sure have a positive experience. I booked 2 deluxe king rooms with sea view for 2 nights, for our 2 teenagers, my husband and myself. (See picture of the room shown in booking.com and the ones actually given to us below). The price per room per night was 50 USD higher than their next category (standard). So we paid 200 usd extra to have 2 big windows facing the ocean. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we were definitely NOT given the rooms we were charged for. The ones we were given faced the back wall of their restaurant. We thought it was a mistake, and asked to speak to the manager. While we were waiting in one of the rooms for the manager, I stepped outside into the balcony and closed the glass sliding door to avoid mosquitos going into the room. Then as I tried to slide open the door to go back inside, the glass door fell right on top of the bed’s frame and the glass exploded into pieces. I stood in shock just trying to figure out how that could happen, and was very happy that at that moment my husband was in the bathroom and not on the bed or desk because he would have been seriously hurt with the shattered glass. Could improve: That’s when finally the managers (a western couple) showed up. They seemed to be shocked about the door (even though I suspect it must have had issues in the past was not properly fixed) and helpful about it. But when we told them that we were not given the rooms we booked, Tiffany (the lady manager) said that these are the correct rooms. That if we stick our heads outside the balcony and look to the right, we’ll see the ocean. And then she said, that we booked last minute and got a lower rate anyway. I showed her the pictures of the rooms we booked in booking.com and told her that these are clearly not the same, that this is a huge disappointment and it upsets us because it’s clearly deceiving to get from us 200 usd more. Her offer was to give us a bottle of wine!?!? instead. Extremely unprofessional. We were happy that we only booked two nights and then changed to another hotel for our next two nights which was also on the beach, at the same price we paid at Double A, much newer, clean pool, fabulous rooms with a nice balcony and normal bathroom (see picture below of the shower almost on top of the toilet at double A). It’s the first terrible review we write for a hotel, but we thought that it’s important to write it as we are happy that by reserving via this platform, we can rely on the transparency to the quality we are paying for. I would have given it only 1 point (for the location at the nice beach) instead of the 3 I give it now, but the super sweet local employees at the hotel and the fact that the rooms were clean raised my rating by 2 points. The hotel itself needs to be renovated, the management needs to provide the guests with what they actually book, and be professional about it all.)

El personal muy amable . El desayuno te lo servían : fruta , zumo , salchichas , champiñones, bollería y mantequilla La habitación era amplia . Lo mejor es q estaba justo delante de la playa Could improve: Mobiliario y decoración anticuados . Cables de árbol en árbol por todo el jardín . El baño- sin ducha separada - bastante incómodo pues el suelo siempre estaba mojado .
