Elewana Kilindi Zanzibar - Adults Only

One of the best resorts I ever stayed in. 1- The service is incredible, the people here are amazing and it ia humbling how great the treatment is. 2- They went above and beyond to provide services that we requested even if not available. 3- The food is great and the experience is special 4- VERY SPECIAL RECOMMENDATION: DON'T MISS TASTE OF ZANZIBAR, amazing culinary experience. 5- The place is quite and relaxing with great views. Most importantly we met great people and made great memories. un posto fantastico mare bellissimo e tanto relax

So I paid over 1,000 for one night stay here. The night before I stayed at a different all inclusive for 700 and they offered so much more. At the Kilindi the property is starting to fall apart, there’s paint in the pools that comes off on your body. And for the price your paying they do not suggest or offer any extras . If you want dinner on the beach or a floating breakfast you have to chase them around and might not happen anyway. The final touch of disappointment for me was the overwhelming smell of burning trash /plastic in the morning. Covered the whole property and it was hard to breath….they need to bring their price wayyyy down.

Fiquei hospedado com minha esposa no hotel no mes passado. Tenho por habito, ler os reviews de hospedes antes de reservar hoteis. Confesso que li alguns reviews que depreciavam bastante o hotel e fiquei um pouco inseguro, mas como estes eram uma minoria, resolvi confirmar a reserva. A experiencia no hotel foi fantastica, desde o momento que chegamos. Fomos calorosamente recebidos pela equipe do hotel, inclusive Andre, o gerente, que eh muito gentil e solicito. Tudo no hotel nos surpreendeu positivamente. A piscina, o restaurante, a comida, tudo uma experiencia muito agradavel e deliciosa. Mas os pontos altos realmente sao a Vila e as pessoas. A vila eh grande e magnifica, uma estadia realmente muito unica e especial. Descansamos e aproveitamos muito a area externa da vila, o quarto eh otimo e o melhor eh o banheiro aberto. Inesquecivel. Por fim, devo falar das pessoas, todos os funcionarios sao muito bem treinados, estao sempre atentos e prontos para ajudar e atender todos os desejos dos hospedes. Sao todos muito especiais. Definitivamente foi uma das melhores experiencias que ja tivemos em hoteis e recomendo fortemente.

Property is nice, but the area is not the best in Zanzibar. Beach is right where a working fishing village is located. Not very private at all! Property is nice, grounds are ok. Overall upkeep of the property is below expectations. We switched villas and the second one was better, but not in pristine condition. Villa layout is awkward. Bathroom is separate from the room structure and with a very peculiar design, offering very little privacy. Pricing is outrageous, at more then $1,000 a night, for a so-so experience. The bright spot is service and food, but overall this property is way way way overpriced!!
