The service of the women (housekeeping lady/cook) was incredible! And everybody was so nice and helpful to us! We had a own „security man“ he was there 24/7 and we felt so safe :)

Big room and bathroom Decent breakfast to kick start your day Could improve: Poor water pressure Constant WiFi issues Elecritity outages Staff weren't as helpful or genuine as we would have hoped. Far from the main beach: the distance + strong sun + rocky dirt roads makes for a horrible experience

the owner was really nice, the place is calm and for people like us that live in the city, it was very relaxing. we’ve always had water and Wi-Fi, considering we are in Africa. breakfast was delicious. highly recommended!

A quiet place away from noisy hotels and beaches with intrusive beach boys. The house has everything you need for a comfortable independent life. Refrigerator, open air kitchen with all utensils. You live like in your own house, only 300 meters away you have the ocean. It is also very close to shops, fruit shops with cheap fruits and vegetables and a fish market where you can always buy fresh tasty fish and very cheap octopuses. Living is absolutely safe, because you live in a village and all the neighbors are familiar. Maasai also guard the territory at night, but this is more a tribute to tradition than a necessity. No one will come and disturb your vacation - this is a taboo. The house is very spacious. One big room, a big niche for things, a huge bed, a spacious shower. In addition to a large refrigerator in the kitchen, there is also a small refrigerator in the house. There are mosquito nets on the windows, which traps insects well, but if some mosquito gets into the room, the canopy on the bed will protect you 100%. Although, you can not be afraid of mosquitoes, because there is no malaria in Zanzibar. If you walk along the coast to the north, then you will find yourself on an incredibly beautiful wild beach where there are no people at all. However, you must remember that access to these wild places opens only at low tide, that is, from morning until midday. The staff is very friendly and ready to fulfill all your wishes. Could improve: Write here due the limit. Some life hacks: 1. Ask the staff to make you a local sim card, so you will always have a fairly fast internet. 2. Order octopus at the fish market the day before. 3. Rent a bike or motorbike - this will save time on shopping and you can quickly get to the tourist beaches. 4. Don't forget to bargain at the fruit stalls and the fish market, as for tourists always first call mzungu (like gringo) price. However, remember that you have come to an amazing place with honest, benevolent people and it is our sacred duty to support them financially. 5. If finances allow, be sure to fly on a safari to the mainland. The cheapest park is Selous. But the ideal is to visit the Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro. This is an incredible adventure, you will find yourself in nature untouched by civilization among animals that have been living there for millions of years.
