Perfect location Could improve: Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The bathroom looks like a prison bathroom and is cleaned without chemicals, only water, which leaves it feeling dirty. Every time you shower, the bathroom floods and a rotten smell spreads through the entire room. The pillows were full of mold inside the pillowcases, which is unacceptable. The bed sheets were also dirty, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. There is humidity everywhere in the room. They are doing some renovations, but instead of fixing the problem, they are just painting over old damp walls. The smell in the room is very strong and constant. The bathroom light did not work. The air conditioner turns on but does not blow cold air, and we were not given the remote control. The TV did not work and the remote had no batteries. The fridge did not work and was completely rusty on the outside. On top of all this, we were told that breakfast was from 7 to 10 am. We asked at 8 and again at 9:20 am, but the cook still had not arrived. Breakfast basically does not exist at this hotel. We went to “reception” to complain and at least they agreed to refund the 10,000 TZS Zanzibar tax that we had paid in cash the day before. Finally, every single photo on Booking is misleading. From the first to the last one, none of them reflect the real condition of the place. Either they are heavily edited or they were taken 20 years ago when the “hotel” was first opened. Overall, the room was not properly maintained and did not meet basic comfort standards. I would not recommend staying here until major improvements are made.

Niente Could improve: NON È COME NELLE FOTO. La struttura é terribile, ci hanno fatto aspettare più del dovuto per il check in per poi darci una stanza INVIVIBILE. Piena di MUFFA sulle pareti le tende erano rotte, il bagno sporco, l’armadio rotto. C’era una puzza tremenda e non si riusciva a respirare, dopo 2 minuti abbiamo preso le nostre valige e ce ne siamo andati. Il receptionist (che secondo noi era sotto effetto di sostanze) ci ha trattati male. Il proprietario non ha voluto darci il rimborso. Ho spiegato che se la foto e la descrizione sul sito non corrispondono a realtà ho il diritto a riavere i soldi ma non ha voluto saperne. PER FAVORE NON SOGGIORNATE QUI!!!!!!!!!
