Kili View Lodge

Nothing much Could improve: Upon arrival, we were greeted by rooms that left much to be desired. Each room contained only a bed and basic bedding, with no other furniture in sight. There were no mirrors, no closets, and our bags were left on the floor due to the lack of storage options. The floor wasn't even tiled, which added to the discomfort. In essence, the rooms were stripped down to the bare essentials, consisting solely of a bed, bedding, and a toilet. The beds were covered with nets and unable to even sit on them. To make matters worse, there was no WiFi available, and the place lacked any visible signage, causing us to get lost for quite some time. The location was quite remote, adding another layer of difficulty to the situation.

friendliness of the staff, family environment, cleanliness and view

I am from New Zealand and was very impressed with the accommodation within a very well cared compound flowering bushes and flower garden. The buildings are new and very clean. You can see My Kilimanjaro over the back wall of the compound. In this area there are a lot of trees. The road in from the main road is rough but short. I was very impressed by William the owner who went out of his way to be helpful, and am happy to recommend this lodge.😊 Could improve: There is no reception area as it is a lodge, and meals were served n the porch - which was nice.

Very nice place about 20 minutes from the city Center. Is is located in a local village very recommended if you want to experience the true Tanzania lifestyle. The owner is extremely kind and welcoming all your requests. Just bear in mind it is not in the Center but can be reached just by auto or taxi which can of course be provided by the owner. I really felt at home, all personnel were really kind.

I really enjoyed my stay here ! The people were very kind and the food delicious ! The location is very quiet and you can have a beautiful view on the montains if there is no cloud !
