The staff were nice enough. Could improve: Do not stay here in June! The whole serengeti nearby was on fire so there is essentially no wildlife. They should have closed the hotel or offered for us to stay in another location. I cannot believe they charged us full price for a hotel full of smoke and ash. You couldn’t breathe properly or sleep well or use any of the facilities like the pool as it was full of ash. Also couldn’t see the view you pay a fortune for. All my clothes smelt of smoke after. We only stayed the second night rather than seeing if we could go somewhere else because they promised the fire would have gone down and it would be okay to breathe but it was much worse. I was told they are pre-warned about the fire so they lied. Ruined our safari holiday. I have been trying to contact customer service for a month to request a refund and have been ignored. Lunchboxes were also not good compared to most other places we stayed. Apparently this happens every year in June - so if you are travelling then avoid at all costs!

La ubicación, los servicios, las personas que trabajan allí,el entorno, son impresionantes. He estado dos veces en este hotel y es un sitio inolvidable. Could improve: Todo lo positivo queda empañado, porque alguien registro nuestras pertenencias mientras desayunábamos, busco las carteras con el dinero y nos robo. El hotel estaba vacío, no había ningún huésped más. El responsable del hotel y el responsable de la oficina de la cadena Serena, no hicieron nada, ni tuvieron detalle de ningún tipo. Por tanto, recomiendo guardar muy bien el dinero en metálico o llevarlo siempre encima
