To be honest, I don’t even know where to start. The Mwezi Resort was simply amazing for me and my family! A well-deserved 4-star rating for this beautiful estate. The people here are incredibly friendly and were always ready to help – and that really goes for everywhere: at the reception, during breakfast, in the restaurant, at the pool bar and the whole security team. Hats off to you all! 👌 We’d especially like to give our Swahili teacher a big hug. Throughout our stay, he kept trying to teach us the language. Our daughter Laura, of course, got top marks. 😉 The boutique hotel is furnished with great attention to detail. The rooms were spacious, cosy and the beds were perfect. We were able to experience this for ourselves in two different bungalows – one of which even had a private pool and a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. 🌊 A special shout-out goes to the creative designer! 👌 Great cocktails, a very tasty dinner and a delicious breakfast every morning – that’s the life. 😋 We do have one small suggestion for improvement, though: please swap the salt and pepper shakers for small salt and pepper mills, to make the salt come out better👍 We’re left with wonderful memories of this special place and of the whole island, with all its variety. We’d definitely come back! I’m listening to the Afrobeat music that was played at your pool bar right now, and I miss that time very much. The experiences and adventures we had with you help us, here far away from Jambiani, to approach everyday life a little more relaxed, with a touch of ‘Usijali’ and ‘Pole Pole’. Until we meet again! Design do hotel, quartos sempre MUITO limpos, boa opção para jantar. Could improve: - Pequeno almoço muito pouco variado para os standards de um boutique hotel deste género. Incompreensível cobrarem por um simples expresso ou por um cappucino. Todos os dias a mesma coisa. - Pessoalmente, tinha vindo do norte de Zanzibar e senti uma grande diferença na simpatia dos funcionários para pior. Quase não esboçavam um sorriso e parecia que estavam a fazer uma obrigação. - Se estão à procura de uma praia paradísiaca em frente ao hotel, é preferível encontrarem um hotel mais perto de Paje. A cor da água em frente ao hotel não é tão transparente. - A partir das 6h ouvimos muito barulho dos animais, o que dificultou dormir depois dessa hora. - O chuveiro não tem pressão nenhuma se o bungalow ao lado do vosso estiver a utilizar água (quer seja água do lavatório ou mesmo da sanita). - Não se percebe como é que um hotel com tantos cocos,, por 5 dias seguidos consegue dizer que não tem stock de cocos no bar da piscina. - Um hotel desde genéro devia ter um terminal multibanco para não se pagar através de um website.
