Mwi Village House

Mwi ist eine außergewöhnlich herzliche Person, der ihr euch ohne zu zögern anvertrauen solltet. Er hat uns bei ALLEN Fragen unterstützt, bereits vor unserer Reise hat er umgehend auf meine Fragen reagiert und hat uns (zu einem wirklich fairen Preis!) sogar vom Flughafen in Manyara abgeholt. Vor Ort ist er wirklich Gold wert - er kümmert sich um alles, nahm uns alle Sorgen und war sogar mit uns auf dem lokalen Markt weil wir etwas besorgen wollten. Wenn ihr ein authentisches Erlebnis abseits der Touristenmassen sucht, fragt ihn nach dem Massai Village, er hat uns in ein wirklich authentisches Massai Dorf gebracht, in dem man das wirkliche Leben sieht. Mwi ist mehr als ein Host / Gastgeber, es ist ihm wirklich wichtig, dass die Gäste tolle Erlebnisse und eine unbeschwerte Zeit haben. Nicht zu vergessen: das Essen ist hervorragend, esst unbedingt bei ihm zu Abend! Wir wären gerne eine Nacht länger geblieben! Could improve: Da gibt es absolut nichts!

Etwas abseits der Hauptstraße liegt Mwi‘s Village House schön ruhig. Ein idealer Ort um zu entspannen. Mwi selbst ist ein unglaublich liebenswerter Gastgeber, super hilfsbereit, freundlich und gibt zahlreiche Tipps zu Unternehmungen in der Nähe. Wir hätten ihn gerne als persönlichen Guide für unsere Safaris gehabt! 😁 Wir waren drei Nächte dort und haben neben den Lunchboxen für unsere Safaris auch das Abendessen bei ihm gehabt! Es war sehr abwechslungsreich und jeden Abend unglaublich lecker! Vielen Dank, dass wir authentische tansanische Küche probieren konnten. 😊🙏 Für unsere Kinder wirkte der Ort anfangs etwas karg, sie spielten jedoch kurze Zeit später schon mit dem Sohn der Köchin und beschäftigten sich mit den Ziegen. Could improve: Es gibt absolut nichts zu beanstanden!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The owner, Mwi, is a truly wonderful person: warm, welcoming, helpful and genuinely committed to making sure his guests have a great experience. The room was beautifully finished, spotless and very comfortable. The shower was excellent, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and everything was clearly maintained with great care. The food was another highlight. Every meal was delicious, varied and perfectly seasoned. We really enjoyed the quality and the attention given to every dish. Overall, we had an extremely pleasant and relaxing stay. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. We would happily stay here again!

A great place to relax after a safari. We stayed for 3 days. Peaceful location, great host, very comfortable accommodations, an oasis. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood, experiencing a very authentic Tanzania. A cultural tour of rice fields, banana plantations, and the market was a highlight. We highly recommend Mwi's Village House! The breakfast and dinners were also very good. And there is wifi in the rooms, not always the case in Tanzanian lodges. Could improve: Nothing.
