Very clean and friendly stuff Could improve: The tissue paper quality hahaha

Unfortunately, nothing stands out positively. Could improve: Avoid this hotel. I have travelled extensively and this is, without question, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The property bears little resemblance to the peaceful beachfront stay that is advertised. There is major construction surrounding the hotel, with noise beginning early in the morning despite this not being disclosed when booking. The advertised beach access was also misleading, as construction blocked the direct route. To make matters worse, the hotel sits next to a nightclub that plays extremely loud music late into the night on multiple evenings, making it almost impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. This is not the relaxing holiday that was advertised or that guests pay for. Our room also suffered an ongoing toilet fault that was reported multiple times. Despite repeated assurances that it had been repaired, the problem continued throughout our stay, even requiring us to deal with it ourselves during the night. Having to repeatedly chase basic maintenance while on holiday is simply unacceptable. The biggest disappointment, however, was the staff and management. Every legitimate concern was met with excuses rather than solutions. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner dismissed our complaints and even attempted to justify the situation by blaming the government of Zanzibar. Paying guests should not be expected to tolerate defective facilities, excessive noise and poor service because “that’s just how it is.” We were offered only an inferior replacement room with no balcony, no sea view and no television, or a token refund that came nowhere close to reflecting the disruption to our holiday. Rather than resolving the issues, management appeared more interested in minimising them. The lack of professionalism extended beyond reception.

Struttura molto bella, camere ampie, pulizia impeccabile, personale molto gentile e sempre disponibile! Cibo ottimo!!! Could improve: Peccato che non sia affacciato sulla spiaggia ma con i tuc tuc (super convenienti), taxi o anche a piedi si arriva in pochi minuti sulla spiaggia di Nungwi.

The calm and neat environment Could improve: Everything here was ok. I like everything about Opera Hotel.

Actually its big facilities with 2 swimming pools, comfortable for family with small children. Stuff at the kitchen trying to be nice, thats big respect. Good Italian cuisine. Could improve: Location of hotel is far from the beach 15min by walk what is makes sence. And in my case the price and comfort wasn't equal. Also a lot of construction activities around hotels (2-3 building under construction) what is making noise during the time of relax or having lunch or dinner. Soundproofing between rooms are poor. I can hear all my neighbours and they were so noisy till 2-3 AM and nobody can stop them because reception stuff are off, only one security near the main door. There no connection with reception if you need something (like phone call to reception). Yes, they trying to help me with daily water providing for example, but general it's difficult. You also responsible for remote of TV or AC, hairdryer and towel (it will be provided for you in special bag and you must return it back before check out). What makes me feel non comfortable. Internet in the evening not working properly, most of the time switched off. The photo of facilities on booking doesn't reflect new conditions buildings, if I knew it I will not book it for sure. Booking.com should do options of cancelling in case if provided information doesn't match with reality, but unfortunately...
