Saruni River Lodge

No WiFi. The staff told us that wifi router was broken for months. During our 2 night stay, we experiened 2 times of power outages, lasting 1 hour or so. Other than that, basic facility was ok and we had good sleep two nights.

Plus: Comfortable beds & good shower; Minus: decor dull and dark with lack of maintenance, lack of light and air; no printed menu—verbal only and very limited; desperate need of a makeover and a professional dining experience;

This is a a local pub (and more) with rooms that are run down, insecure, dirty and very noisy. Avoid at all cost. Pictures on the website are very deceptive. My husband had to check out after one night - could not stay. The staff were lovely but had no power to change the condition and quality of the hotel. The owner was nowhere to be seen! You can get much better, cleaner and safer local hotels at a much lower price so don't be fooled by the apparently low price.
