This is not a five star hotel but the staff were five star. The accommodation is very much in an original two hundred year old building in the alleys of Stone Town. Yet the air con worked fine, the fan worked fine, the shower and the bathroom worked fine. Everything was good. Yes the room is a little small but that's down to the construction two hundred years ago. A truly authentic experience. Thank you. And , and importantly, an excellent breakfast. Coffee shop and evening meal restaurant literally around the corner. We would also like one if the staff shirts!
