We had a nightmare experience at this hostel/hotel. We stayed here for one day prior to visiting Kilimanjaro and then the night before out flight. Could improve: Irene was extremely disrespectful to us on our second day prior to departure. She was aggressive and rude throughout our stay. During our first stay, the showers did not work properly -- no water pressure or hot water. Our trip organizer shared this feedback with our tour operator to help them improve and just honestly sharing a big problem for us. The shower stopped mid shower for two people. When we returned, Irene was hostile to us and attacking us for not liking the other room. The power went out for hours on our return arrival. She sent the cooks home instead of offering us dinner. And then she accused us for not paying for all the beers we drank when I actually overpaid prior to checkout. You should avoid staying here at all. We would never come back and recommend you don't either!
